The Charger appeared on a local used car lot in mid-November 2001.
My best inspection revealed that it was in great condition with no evidence
of rust anywhere. A trade was soon arranged whereby my 65 T-Bird (ex-Chuck P.)
was traded in on it. I spent the winter of 2002-2003 restoring the interior.
On stripping out the interior, I found that this car has absolutely rust free
sheet metal throughout. Except for carpet and front seat covers, the original
interior was re-dyed and re-installed as it was found to be in perfect condition
except for some fading. This car is blessed with a 383 engine and power steering.
It also has what appears to be the original vinyl top. What a great cruiser!
