Welcome - OLD WEBSITE Archive

Welcome to the North Alabama Region (NAR) of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA). Our objective is the perpetuation of our interest in the preservation of classic and antique motor vehicles and the promotion of comradery and fellowship among all AACA members and other aficionados of the classic car hobby. We are proud of our involvement in the local community. NAR is a non-profit organization.

If you are in the north Alabama or south-central Tennessee part of the country, we invite you to join our club. Ownership of an antique vehicle is not required!

Some upcoming and recent major club events include:

We hold regular club meetings as listed on our Events Calendar on the fourth Thursday of every month, either at the Museum of Information Explosion, 1806 University Drive, Huntsville, AL, 7:00pm or at one of the areas' great restaurants, 6:00pm.

Images on this page are just a sample of the many wonderful automobiles lovingly maintained by club members. We have developed a picture gallery for you to visit and meet some of our members, their vintage cars, and their stories.

Antique automobile enthusiasts love to drive their old vehicles and there is nothing like a good road trip with friends for enjoyment. Here are some of the recent local tours we have sponsored. The club also enjoys numerous cruise-ins and picnics, garage tours, and parades and displays throughout the year. We also have some pictoral histories of our Chapter's Totcky Award winners and related vehicle restorations.

We welcome you to visit any of the social functions we promote especially our Annual Car Show held in October. We invite you to join our club for a nominal fee (currently $20.00 per year). Local dues help offset the cost of publishing Spoke Folks, our award-winning monthly newsletter. National AACA membership is a prerequisite to becoming a local member but ownership of an antique motor vehicle is not, merely an interest in the old car hobby.
